Membership in a "church" is a human way of bringing unity. The true church is universal or "catholic" as stated in the Nicene Creed. The body of Christ is the entity birthed by the Spirit of God and characterized by the indwelling Spirit of God in each member. Pastor Dale presses into the theology of the presence of God (Mt 18:20) as the elementary glue of membership and the body of Christ.
