Paul dealt humbly with the Corinthians because they were infants, only able to digest milk. They were quarreling and fighting among themselves. This is a primary indicator of the lack of unity and the presence of the Spirit of God “in power.” Jesus talks about bringing unity to our relationships in Matthew 18. The basis of winning over a brother is the heart of a shepherd that does not focus on the sin but on the separation from our Heavenly Father.
