Jesus quotes Isaiah as he explains to his disciples that he speaks in parables because there is a deep seed of life that draws at those who desire to respond to Gos. This is best found in the unbelievable call of Isaiah that comes from Isaiah 6, where Jesus quotes the words of God to Isaiah.
