The high point in the creation accounts in Genesis 1 and 2 is the creation of human beings "in the image of God." As creatures in God's image, humans are given the responsibility as managers over the rest of creation. However, the creation of the Woman in chapter 2 illustrates that among themselves as men and women, human relationships are to be in partnership. Thus, as a whole humanity, human beings to be "Managing Partners in God's Creation."
