The good news of Emmanuel (God with us) begins in antiquity but is revealed in Jesus. Jesus’ coming rocked the world (Mt 11) beginning with John the Baptist. John’s miraculous conception, via Zechariah and Elizabeth, is the place where God begins to reveal the things that He embedded in the House of David.
