Christians don’t fully understand/believe all that is theirs as they embrace the cross. As well, Christians are Bionically illiterate. We know too little and understand even less. We need to add in an understanding of the culture of the time of the event in order to fully appreciate the import of the event. Finally, we need to dig deeply into scripture, to incorporate it in our lives. “We won’t believe more than we know and we won’t live higher than our beliefs.”
