When Jesus tells the disciples that the kingdom of God is like that of the little child, that He called out to, He is establishing a visual of heaven. When He asserts that receiving the child is also receiving Himself He is placing us in the drivers seat of heaven’s activity. Finally, “whoever humbles himself as this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
