Why Me?

Passage: Jeremiah 1:5-7, 9-12 Jeremiah 20:14-18; Isaiah 55:8-9 Ephesians 3:16-21

Even though, as a youth God spoke to him and told him that he would be a spokesperson for God, Jeremiah cried out to God to curse the day of his birth. Jeremiah’s experience was so painful that this memory of God’s touch was completely forgotten. This should remind us that God’s ways and plans are much bigger than ours, and the trauma we are living through involves God’s hand which should not be forgotten.
